Manic Monday – Great Titles

Manic Mondays are my day for confessing my lack of willpower when it comes to surfing the net. Sometimes it starts with a weird thought that leads to me thinking, “I wonder …” Then I have to find out. Other times I’ve read something and I want to know more. Last year I spent a lot time (way too much time) looking up Spanish slang for my last book in the Stranger series.

This past week I read a book by Laurie Colwin called Shine On, Bright and Dangerous Object. I picked it out because I loved the title … which got me googling great book titles. Here are a few of my favorites along with links to the list they were on:

Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury

Motherhood: The Second Oldest Profession by Erma Bombeck

Knitting with Dog Hair by Kendall Crolius

The Thirty-Nine Steps by John Buchan

The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers
